We ordered two of everything and 3 Ameracauna (gotta have those "easter" eggs!). And I've noticed as they've grown, how different our 2 Rhode Island Reds are. I wonder if one could have some New Hampshire Red mixed in, too?

They like to hang out together.

Such pretty girls. And it looks like you're having gorgeous weather, too. The sun is actually shining here this morning and I'm sure Oregonians everywhere are staring at the sky in fear, wondering what that blasted bright light is. :-)

Thanks farmgirl. Funny comment about the Oregonians and their lack of familiarity with sunlight! hehe
No plans to add to our flock this year, or probably even next year. 13 is a good number of chickens for us due to the size of the hen house and coop. Too many chickens in too small a space can often lead to stress for them.
It's also not simple adding more chickens to an aleady established flock either. The 'oldies' don't always accept the 'newbies'.
