Happy Mother's Day!

I do hope all the beautiful Moms that read my blog, enjoyed a very special Mother's Day today. I truly did!
First my kids and hubby brought me breakfast in bed and came bearing gifts. While I ate my cereal and drank my tea, my sweet Jeremiah serenaded me with his guitar. What a terrific way to wake up in the morning!
After placing my pretty flowers into a 'vase' and munching on some yummy chocolates, I spent most of the day up at the barn and pasture with my horse, Baby Doll, and played with the goats, sheep and llamas, too.
The day was beautiful with only a light wind and lots of warm sunshine.
I received some adorable cards from the kids and John, some chocolate from the kids and flowers and the first season 'House' series from John.

And then John brought in the mail and my package from Sugar Creek Stuff had arrived!! Whoohooo! The Feedbag bags are a HUGE hit! What an AWESOMELY talented and creative job Michelle did! We love them!
But that wasn't all that was in the box!!!
Sweet, generous Michelle also sent little packages all wrapped up so pretty for each and every one of us! We were SO surprised as it was completely unexpected, and so very thoughtful. Wow.
Jenna thought it was so pretty, 'whatever it is' hehe
Michelle very generously included some of her adorable little hand-made tissue packs, from her talented business, Sugar Creek Stuff , with tissues included! How cool is THAT?
AND!!! Michelle also included a special thank you gift for me, too! Get this! A beautiful, oh-so-soft, vintage sheets bag!! I LOVE IT!! It's so feminine and pretty! THANK YOU MICHELLE!!!! I feel so pampered and spoiled!
And look at the inside of the bag with the roomy pocket and Sugar Creek Stuff tag. This bag is so soft, I just want to cuddle up with it. hehe
I am so touched by Michelle's kindness, generosity and friendship. Who'd a known that I'd make such special friends via the blogging world. Not me! But I feel so grateful and tickled to call Michelle at Sugar Creek Stuff, a friend of mine.

And don't forget to visit her Etsy Shop to purchase some beautiful handmade gifts for your family, friends and to treat yourself. You won't be disappointed and you'll also be showing your support for a fellow stay-at-home Mom.

And then another package was in the mail! This one for Jenna from my dear friend, Aeri. Apparently Aeri, her husband and kids went to a book signing at Barnes and Noble in Houston to buy Laura and Jenna Bush's new book and have them both sign the copies of the books, too. Here's the book Aeri sent for Jenna.
And both women signed it. The First Lady and daughter, Jenna. And Aeri even took photos of them signing the book. Is that cool?! That's my friend holding her baby boy in the green shirt. What a truly special gift for Jenna. I know she will treasure this book. Thanks Aeri!

My, you got wonderful things! I just discovered House by accident this year. Hugh Laurie is fabulous. Have you ever seen him as a young actor in the BBC series "Jeeves and Wooster"? Hysterical stuff (bumbling trust-fund young man and educated, long suffering man-servant). That's what I got for Mother's day from my family---all three seasons of Jeeves and Wooster. Here's a youtube clip for your enjoyment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWnB0hQWGdI

Michelle, you are so talented and your box arrived just in time for the whole family.

I'm so glad you like the feed bags and your gifts. How could I not include gifts, you are my best customer! I'm glad Jenna thought her "whatever it is" was so pretty. What a crack up.
Thank you again for the bag love and for the shout out.

Those are such nice things you got from Sugar Creek. I love homemade items like that. Very special. I have never watched House, but it looks intriquing.
Love the authographed book! I need to check that one out. Being a teacher, I am always looking for a good book to read in the classroom!
