Twinville, nothing to do with your post today. The Corrales Harvest Festival is the last weekend in September - Sat., 9/27 and Sun., 9/28. The corn maze will be ready next week. It definitely will be open for the festival.
Regards,
Dan
That's hysterical! I think you and the hens need to pick the lottery winners on Channel 4 instead of that silly ping pong ball thing they've got going on.
Funniest Video of the Day Award!
What a clever idea, Lisa! Of course, I wish it was ME that the chickens pecked...I mean picked out...lol!!!
Congrats Saddle Mtn. Rider! You are well deserving :)
Congratulations on a great way to draw a winner. Are your chickens available for the Presidental election???
That was so cute and funny!
And yay for me, I am now officially caught up! :)
Thanks for that info, Dan! :)
We''ll be heading your way very soon. Let's make plans to meet.
7MSn,
Yes! Would that be entertaining? My girls would probably love that, too. :)
Ok Sugarcreekstuff. So where's my award? eh? haha
Thanks for the vote. :)
Hey Melanie.....the contest is not quite over. Just wait and see. hehehehehe :)
Oh yes, GreyWolf, they would love that job. They are probably alot more accurate in the tallying, too. haha!
Cdn Cowgirl,
Whew! Did you really read through ALL 355 blog posts????
Girl you need to get out and get some fresh air. Ride a horse, take a walk, come visit me here in New Mexico. haha!
Thanks for reading and visiting me :)
That video was absolutely hilarious! Great idea! And Thank you, Chickies, for picking my name. Yipeeee!
How entertaining! Chickens sure are fun. That looked like a lot of roosters to me.
I love your videos! What a cute idea. I never got around to entering because I was waiting for hay all weekend...but it looks like you got a LOT of entries!
Congrats Pamela! Glad you enjoyed the unique process of name picking! hehe
I'll get your prize out to you soon!
Hi Christy,
Thaks. Glad you enjoyed the videos. Might look like a lot of roos, but we only have two roos out of 17 chickens. One is Sid, our Polish chicken and the other is Mr Cotton, our Silky chicken.
I think you may be confusing our Brown Leghorn hens as roosters? It's ok, a lot of people do. We even did early on, because of their large red combs and dangly wattles.
But nope, they are hens. :)
Thank goodness. So far so good with having two roosters in the same coop. :)
That is hilarious! What a clever idea and the sound effects are perfect. Makes me want chickens even more now!
What a great way to pick a winner!! I love your chickens!! Funny video. And very creative way to pick a name!
