On Thanksgiving, no less! Woot, Woot!
I'm not a huge fan of snow, except when my family can be home together and especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last year we had snow for Christmas and Thanksgiving, and we were thrilled! So far, this year seems to be a repeat, which is great, because the house is cozy and warm and filled with the comforting aromas of food roasting and baking.
The horse, llamas, goats and sheep are all tucked into the barn nice and dry, and except for a few bedraggled stubborn chickens, the chickens are cuddled up inside their house, too. Mrs. Cotton, our Japanese Silky hen, looks a little worse for wear, doesn't she?
These are the smart ones.
So, what's the weather like in your neck of the woods?
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
PS, We'll return to the Alphabet Blog Challenge on Friday morning.....with the Letter "E".

Snow is a four letter word. I like to see it for a little while but then I like to see it melting.
Just don't like to travel on it.
Looks like those chicks are ruffling up to get warm.
Hope your Thanksgiving was toasty.
I'm jealous! There is nothing like white holidays! I used to live in Massachucetts and Illinois and there is just "something" about snow during these times.
Today, here in Georgia it was 65 degrees out!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Lisa.
You can keep the snow on your side of the mountains. We had rain which we needed.
Dan
It was 60 and sunny today. A lovely day to sit with the girls out in their yard. I'm having trouble getting mine to leave their coop. I actually locked them out of it for a few hours today. As soon as I opened the door again, they ran back in. I assume they will get more used to being out with time.
Cold and cloudly. I'm jealous of the snow. I have nowhere to go for a few days, so I wouldn't mind getting snowed in! :)
Hope you had a great thanksgiving!
Wow! How great is that? Snow for the holiday. It was overcast here in Ft. Worth, rain is in the forcast for friday. Hope you had a great day! Loved your snow pictures.
Didn't you just love it?!
Of course, the fog afterwards was crazy.
Snow on Thanksgiving....how cool is that!! Really sets the festive mood if you ask me. I love snow!! Well not when I have to drive in it, but I do love snow. I hope you had a wonderful day....=)
Poor Mrs. Cotton needs to have an appointment with a blow dryer. :)
Snow will sure get you in the mood for Christmas. It is pushing 75* right now and is at 61% humidity. It's slightly 'muggy' to say the least. Not really feeling very much like getting out the decorations just yet.
We are having crystal clear blue skies and bright sunshine, although it is very cold. Happy Thanksgiving.
Don't hate me, but it's like 70 degrees here and sunny. Thanksgiving the weather was beautiful.
I do not miss snow at all. The hens did look a bit nervous about the white stuff. I love your hens. They all are so pretty. But Sid, he is my favorite.
Oh my you need some winter coats for the chicks, burr.
Ok, so where is the snowman????
Shouldn't someone have made one???
I'm waiting!!!
I love just a light covering of snow like that. It hasn't snowed here in Northwest Ohio on Thanksgiving in a few years. I do like white Christmas' much better though. It was about 42 here, and a little windy. But I didn't have to wear my leggings under my Wranglers for riding, so that was nice!
