Baby Doll says, “Did you hear that Rapunzle got a little visit from Lady Godiva?
The two have an appreciation for one another that goes beyond the long hair thing. But most of all, they both have a love for chocolate.
A package arrived for Rapunzle from Texas. Who could it be from, you wonder?
Hmmmm…..let’s look inside shall we?
Just look at all those goodies packed so lovingly inside!
Have you noticed a few clues hinting at whom this package may be from? I bet you know. Pink and Green. Lilly Pulitzer. Glitz and Glamour……….Punchy……..There ya go! You guessed it!
If you guessed this package is from Meg over at Lucchese to Louis Vuitton you would be right on. Thanks Meggy!
Lady Godiva experienced a heat wave while in transit, though.
Rapunzel likes most chocolate, especially truffles, raspberry puree, ganache, mocha, caramel, coffee, and even coconut. But she prefers to know what it is she is popping into her mouth beforehand, if possible.
Lady Godiva makes a splendid effort in showcasing their chocolates in a sort of glossary…which is quite glossy actually.
It’s tempting to circle all of your favorite chocolates and place them out openly so friends and family know what you’re desiring for your next holiday gift. (hint-hint)
But even after spending some time comparing the pictures to what was left of the goo in the box, Rapunzle found it too difficult to correctly identify Lady Godiva’s Chocolates.
Instead she grabbed adventure and surprise by the horns, and scooped up the goo one by one……and then licked her fingers joyfully.
Rapunzle didn’t have to share, either. There are some that prefer grass over chocolate. Go figure!
Thanks again Meggy! You are a generous dear friend, lovely lady!!

Wow, Lisa!!! You got some goooood stuff for Easter! Oh, the chocolate, yum, yum!!! Love chocolate, it loves me too, that's why my butt's so big! LOL

Jane and Gilly
Your horse seems to be saying, "didn't you ever learn how to share!!" Funny. What a lovely gift. Hope you have a treadmill. For every chocolate you eat I think you need to walk the treadmill an hour. But...it's worth it! They look yummy even if they are all gooey.
Mmmmm, Godiva! Gooey chocolate is still chocolate; in fact, I sometimes prefer mine a tad bit melty. Aren't you glad that BD prefers grass?

Wow! That's a wonderfully generous box of goodies.
That's also quite the shot there Baby Doll.
BTW, I have a little something for you over at my place.
Oh yummy!!! When I saw all of that pink and green and read the word "Texas," I just knew it had to be from Meg! :)
...And I bet those chocolates/truffles tasted just as good melted as they would have whole, right??? Teeheehee!!! Eat one for me, okay???? :)
Wow, what a fun box to receive in the mail! Such a special friend... and those poor Godivas! I prefer to know what's in my chocolate before I eat it also, but you can almost tell what's in those melted chocolates...
Glad you enjoyed! :)
Thanks! I am totally hungry now - at 9:00 in the morning! LOL! - Fortunately I am prepared for such situations with a stash of dark chocolate I have hidden in my office to tide me over till lunch!
I'm so jealous of all your gifts!
I love fancy chocolates. I'd even settle for it melted. ;o)
That last photo is a great shot of Baby Doll!
Oh Lisa, what a DITZ I am! HOW could I not think about the Godiva chocolates MELTING in transit? GAH!
I will make it up to you, I promise, when the weather is cooler! I do hope the package made you smile! NOW, can I be BabyDolls Godmother....PLueeeeeeeeeease!!!
I love, love, love that horse...and YOU!
P.S. I will be coming through your great state in the summer, maybe we can catch up to one another????
Big Hug!
What a fun box of goodies! Chocolate...YUMMO!! =)
Extraordinarily cute! Love the picture of the horse..great perspective there. And yes, I agree, Godiva is good no matter what form it winds up in!
Wow, you are one lucky lady!! Easter goodies all the way from Texas. Cool! And, who the heck cares what form the chocolate was in - it was still delightfully good, wonderfully creamy and sinfully delicious chocolate!! Am I right???
Okay, I simply must know...what the heck is egg cream??? Inquiring minds want to know!!
Great gift from a neat person. There is no such thing as a bad piece of chocolate. Some are better than others, but not a bad one in the bunch.
Enjoy.
Dan
Yumnmy! I love any kind of chocolate! Melted is even better!!!
That is so sweet of Meg! Nothing like a goody gift box in the mail and than lots of chocolate!
Love BD's last picture!
What a nice surprise, Meg sure is "sweet" :)
MMMM, chocolate is sooo good, and Lady Godiva is one of the best kinds. Hope you enjoyed your treat!
p.s. thank goodness some prefer grass to chocolate, this way you didn't have to share.
Oh, that is such a nice gift! Yum!
What a friend! Those look awesomly yummy, goo and all!
What a great package! And so colorful!! It was kinda hot down here and i guess it only got hotter as it went westward!! LOL!! But chocolate is chocolate either way!! Yum!!
I bet the chocolates were yummy still.
Love that last horse photo!
mmmmm. melted or not, it doesn't get a whole lot better than that!! What a lovely basket.
Oh yummm, I just slobbered on my keyboard over the thoughts of gooy goodness in a box!
I used to love to draw that logo!
