“Hey Kids! Close the door. We don’t live in a barn, ya know!”
Sometimes the lines drawn between House and Barn get a little smudged.
But Ed asked us to do a photography post on Barns. And I bet most folks will do photos of quiet, peaceful idyllic, pastural barns.
Here’s my barn.
To see more barn photos this week, check out Sunday Stills.

LOL...not sure if I could handle animals in the house....but you have some nice shots..;)
What a great photo.
Life must be very interesting on the ranch.
I love her. She's so photogenic and carries herself with such poise. Who wouldn't want to invite her in for a visit?
BTW...your dog is having way too much fun out there with the goats...
Happy Sunday!
Great shots! One dog and one cat in the house are enough animals in the house for me! :) lol!
Yeah, 2 dogs and 2 cats inside are plenty for me.
Share more pix of your home.
Lovin the Llama! Thanks for stoping by today. I love that you have a real working barn of your very own.
LMAO!! That is great, a Llama in the house? How do you housetrain a llama???
lol! That cracks me up. I almost don't want to let the kids in the house and you've got your llama's in there. :)
Hey Ed,
Actually llamas are easier to housetrain, then kids are to potty train.
They only use an outside communal dung pile. If they have to go to the bathroom, they will hum...and hum and be fidgety (sort of like a kid crossing their legs. lol!)

My first good laugh of the day.:):) I so enjoyed your pics of the precious Llama. So beautiful too.
Good job LOL, you are a brave soul. You must be a Llama Whisperer to keep them calm inside the house.
Oh I love it. I would do the same thing if I had a mini horse. lol.
LOL I've had a horse and a lamb in the house but never a llama.
Llama in the house..I love it..made me smile! I once had a farmer take one in a church..and the old ladies practically fainted.( Nativity Scene. They are so potty trained! Your place looks like a lot of fun.. I enjoyed my visit here! I used to sneak my goat in the house all the time. Great photos! :)
great photos
How funny, they are such beautiful animals aren't they! Luanne
Everyone should have a Llama in their living room!!!
Silly llama... houses are for kids, but not the ones that Zuni is chasing.
That is funny! You have a cultured llama - maybe he's checking out the decor for his renovation?
I hope he is potty trained. Does he have his own pajamas? He could be pajama llamba.
How awesome to have a llama in the house! lol. Great photos!
Love the photo! I'm sure there was a "Please Come In" sign at the door. And how clever ... you have a llama that reads!
haha! Lisss..made me laugh again!

Love the photo of your house guest, but the reason i am commenting is to thank you for your kind and considerate comments to my dear Pony Cousin Paint Girl. You picked up on her insecurities and were able to give her some very nice words of support. Paint Girl is truly just as sweet as she appears in her blog and i know that she will very much appreciate your kind words. I know that i do. She is also a very strong willed and hard-working individual and i have every confidence that she will work her way through this difficult time. Thank you so much.
How funny! Years ago, my Angora goats figured out how to get the mud room door open and walked into the house, then kitchen. They had a stunned look on their faces.
awww great photos!!!
LOL! Now you just need to teach it to wipe it's feet on the rug!
LOL!! Awesome!
OMG! That is too awesome! Llama in the living room. You have me beat for sure. I snuck my pony in the house to play in my bedroom as a child, but a llama?
LOL, I've occasionally brought in a goat or two to wake up adult children visitors!
Heh heh. We goats here on our Farm sometimes forget were we live too.
I remember that llama in the house. That is so much fun. The dog chasing the goats is so funny. Love it.
I love the quote on the side about a horse being the animal to have. Nope, can't ride a hamster.
I've often wondered what Morgunn would do if we brought him into the house. But then I get images of manure covering broken floor tile and I quickly discard that idea.

Great pics! I love the first one where (s)he is standing in the door like, "ok...I'm here! That party can start!" lol

Dont hate me.
Fun Lisa!!! I feel just as at home in my barn as I do in my house....wonder if all my critters would say the same!??

I like your barn - it's better than what I got. And it's probably perfect for your weather down there too huh? sigh.... someday.....
I love the idea of llamas in the house, what a wonderful life you have :)
That llama in your house always cracks me up!! LOL!!!
