The above photos show our peach tree and the baby peaches just beginning their growth into ripe juicy peaches. (I’m so excited!!)
Last year, while our fruit trees flowered, a late May snow and hail storm killed off all the buds. So we had no fruit.
Growing anything above 7,000 ft can be quite challenging, but this year not only is our peach tree finished flowering and is now growing peaches, but our two apple trees are, too!
Dreaming of peach and apple pies, cobblers, crumbles, peach ice cream, and ripe, juicy peaches and apples picked fresh off the tree. ahhhhh! Bliss!
So, what’s growing at your house?

Talk about fuzzy peaches! That's pretty exciting to see something like that growing at your own place and then later to reap the rewards. It makes one much more appreciative of the product.
I love me some fresh peaches!
We have grapes and dandelions growing...
We have squash, tomatos, green beans, bell peppers, cucumbers, jalopeno peppers, and fresh herbs...all are looking good so far...but then that can change on a dime around here!
Peaches....man those are the best!
your animals look happy....peaches look yummy ...apples too....
Those are gorgeous pictures, Lisa!
All we have growing around here are lilacs... Lots of 'em. :o)
the photographs are awesome ms. lisa...like them BIG! and the details pop.
great!
have a wonderful wednesday. hugs
Ooooo Ooooo(holding hand in air) I want one!
Now I know where the term "peach fuzz" comes from...lol!!!! I cannot believe that you have any type of fruit yet. In Western WA, nothing is ever ready until at least late July, with most fruits and veggies coming ripe in late August/early September.
Of course I just noticed that it is around 81 degrees at your house toady, while it is only 48 here. Watch out!!! Here I come...lol!!!!Your snapshots are great too. :)
Oh yum! We had to chop our fruitless peach tree down last year. And my pear tree went with the wind, but my little apple tree is blooming and we'll have plums if I can get to the tent worms in time!
Lisa, how wonderful that your fruit trees are doing so well. The only fruit tree we had was a cherry tree, for some reason it just fell over one day....boohoo no more cherries!!! They were sooooo good too! Everything in my garden is stunted right now but hopefully if the sun keeps shining we will have something growing. With so much rain all my potatoes rotted so I will have to plant more and beans too! Bad weather too wet!

Thank goodness you told us what those were, I had NO idea! lol
Not a big fan of peaches but the apples...mmmm.
Everything looks so yummy. I can see why you're anxious for them to ripen.
7,000 ft - I think I'm at zero or below sea level. All we have is a pear tree, but it's the kind that has the hard peel. ( I don't know what they're called.)
My hubby keeps talking about putting in some fruit trees. I can't wait. We have a large 20x50' garden with a bit of everything. :):)
I'm only at 320 feet above sea level (up 300 feet from the last place I lived) but y'all are WAY ahead of me. I've got lilacs, rhubarb, and the beginnings of strawberries. Sigh. I am deeply envious of you peach/apple people.
Yum, peaches! Anticipation of some good eating!
I should take pictures of my baby apples. I think I'll do a garden photo shoot tomorrow.
Yea! I bet you are so excited to get fruit this year! I am now hungry for all of those yummy treats! :) You took some really nice, yummy pictures, too! So bright!
Those baby peaches are so funny, I couldn't work out what they were when I first saw the photos - how yummy!
I love your camera and I love the fluff on those peaches :)
I don't have much growing at the moment because of winter coming upon us bt I do have spinach, celery and lettuce.

I love peach pie, peach cobbler, peach jam! Apple pie, apple crisp! I will be over!!!
I love peaches and apples! Yum!
Wish my peach and apple trees looked like yours! The apple trees haven't produced any apples yet, but I get peaches every year! Can't wait!
Love the pictures! I feel like I can just reach out and grab one! Oh, and the cobblers and pies you are going to be making, I am also coming over!
Just think of all the horse treats you will now have after the people have eaten their choice!
Awesome!!! Lots of fruits for humans and critters!
A whole bunch of nothing is growing at my house (except tulips) it's still freezing outside at night so we've held off on garden so far - and I have seen no apple blossoms at all so I can't even say we have apples growing on our tree....
