Sunday Stills ~ Billboards

This week’s Sunday Stills Challenge was to photograph annoying or interesting billboards, and not using any archive photos. Here are the billboards I chose to photograph, all located within 5 miles of my house.

I wonder if people sometimes forget their dogs when they leave on vacation?

This is the Veterinary Hospital where we’ve taken our dogs and cats and sometimes our horses. I think it’s ironic how this billboard is so humongous and in such a visible location, whereas the sign they use at their facility is practically invisible, very small and hidden behind trees and bushes. It’s easy to drive by and miss their facility, and I still do sometimes. haha!

And this final billboard is both serious and very funny at the same time. Take heed, men folk!

Which one do you like?

Ok so that last one is pretty funny!

Funny that the vet would have a huge bilboard and a tiny sign at the business LOL

Hi Lisa.
Billboards aren't allowed in Maine! I think the one I know of must have been grandfathered. It's nice to not have them on the highways!

Good choices. Yeah, the Vets certainly need a bigger sign, it's really hard to find their office when you're traveling down the highway at full speed.

That last sign was a hoot....I tried to enlarge it to reed the gist...but my phone won't let me..its blurry. Is it for medical care? I'm afraid I'm worse than a man right now...we just got insurance and I've not been in years....okay, making apts!
