This week’s Sunday Stills Challenge was to photograph cars, from the classics to the junkers.
Photographing cars can be boring. Personally I was quite challenged trying to come up with anything to photograph, until I decided to go with a more creative route (pun intended).
Here’s what I came up with……..
1)Car with a Message
2)Car with Horse Power
3)Down On It’s Luck Car
4)Waiting for a Fill-Up Car (Looks like a mighty long wait)
5)Dreaming of Blue Car
6)Parked Out in Light and Shadows Car
7)Still Waiting for that Fill-Up Car
What do you think?
Do you have a favorite?

Aha I like the blue one. Where did you find those ones at?
Thanks Sydney.
All the old vintage cars are just two miles up the road from my home, in front of a house on Rt 66.
The billboard is only about 8 miles from our house, alongside I-40. And the mustang was in the city of Albuquerque last week while I was shopping for backpacks at Big 5 Sporting Good store.
(Maybe too much information, eh? lol!)

Great take on cars!
I love seeing old cars and the signs surely makes a strong statement.
A terrific post as always! Love the old truck at the pump. :)
Love them all!!!
You always have very creative idea's, Lisa! I took the first car I saw last week for this.
I like the creamy tones of the down on its luck car. Fabulous fotos, as always.
I had intended to use that billboard in the billboards contest but didn't. Then I saw it last week and thought it would be good for this week. Glad you got it and posted it. Great photos.
You did awesome! Certainly no boring car photos here. Hmmm, my favorite? Hard to pick just one. I laughed at the one in the billboard. Really love the blue one and the fill er up car/truck. Well done!

I appreciate all the work you put into your photography. I just upload whatever comes out of my point and shoot Canon for the blogs you know about. I have a separate photography blog under another name the includes photos from my Nikon that I spent hours processing, so there aren't many of those photos. The Nikon format isn't compatible with PhotoShop CS3, so I have to convert every photo before I can open it in PhotoShop. I ended up buying Capture One to be the middle man. Do you sell your photos through stock websites? Do you copyright them?
I love the last one. Odd how getting down low makes photos so interesting. Maybe it reminds us of when we were children and everything was so wonderous.
you did good...love the one waiting for a fill up...
Love your #5...I'll have to look into the Sunday Stills site, it looks like FUN!
Oh so very cool...all of them!
Poster worthy, in my book is, "Dreaming of a Blue car".
Boy that is pretty, and the way you misted the edges, makes it!
