I’ve decided to take some time off from blogging, a little Blog-cation, if you will.
I’ve got so many projects I’m working on this summer and a plethora of activities my kidlets and I are doing, that the days seem to be zooming by so fast, especially when I use a big chunk of my time to visit and leave comments for all of my favorite blogs.
Summer is beautiful in New Mexico, even with our drought and winds, and I don’t want to spend too much time indoors when I can be outside playing with the critters, working on my garden, hiking, camping, or just lazing around while reading a book in my hammock beneath the trees.
Before we know it, summer will be over and there will be plenty of time to cocoon indoors again.
I’m going to try to continue posting for Sunday Stills, because I enjoy the photography challenge so much, and I’ll probably do a few posts about our new chicks once they arrive next week, but otherwise I’ll be MIA for a while.
So, bye bye for now and I wish everyone a wonderful summer.

Well, foof! I just get back and you go away. Oh well, I'd rather be outside too, and I can catch up on your old blogs while you're gone. Don't be surprised to see a bunch of old comments when you get back.
Oh dear, I'll miss your adventures. But I guess we'll still get a weekly photo fix from you...so I think I can suck it up and deal with it.

I will miss your great photos too! But I also understand! Lisa, this morning I went out to check on a broody Polish Crested hen we had. She was sitting on two of her own eggs and we put three more under her.. marked them with a pencil...just a experiment actually to see what would happen. We didnt know if they were fertilized or not, whether she would hatch them or not.. We went to a farm sale this morning and when we came back... this little adorable buff orpington (one of the eggs I slipped under her) face was looking at me! What at thrill!!!! So I am looking forward to seeing pics of your new baby chicks!

I'll miss your blog, but I so understand about wanting to be out when it is so pretty. It's like that here, too. I'll keep tabs on you and will read all about your adventures when the weather turns yucky!
