Crazy weather we’re having right now. This morning I went up to the barn to feed, wearing just a tank top and crop pants in the bright, warm sunshine. By late afternoon, I donned my winter coat to head back up to the barn under dark clouds, thunder, and wind, to feed and tuck everyone in for the night. Right now it’s only 32F and we’re expecting 1-3 inches of snow before morning, although at the moment it’s just pouring rain.
In preparation for our Halloween Zombie Letterboxing Weekend in North and South Carolina, we loaded up on Halloween props and costumes. Jax and Jem love to ham it up at any opportunity, so costumes just add to the fun. Let’s just say, I’ve been laughing a lot lately.
This blonde wig is actually part of my costume, but I love it on Jem, too.
Jax decided to be a Farmer Zombie and insisted on having the longest beard in the world.
Jen will be staying home with Dad, but she wanted to get in on the silliness, too. What a bunch of goofballs!

I’m really looking forward to hanging out with my terrific twinlings this weekend. We are flying out to North Carolina tomorrow and have a weekend packed full of awesome fun activities.

Wednesday night...freakier! Big thunderstorm, rain, hail, winds....then snow. 5 inches of the stuff. Now on Sunday it's almost gone except on the mountains to the south.
