An Afternoon on the Ranch

Lots of stuff going on over the past few days, so I'll get to posting some of the details later tonight, but I've been fighting some kind of nasty bug the past two days, so I'm running in slow motion right now.

So, here's a few pics from an afternoon of our family hanging out together,

Below: This may be the last photo of this type for a long time, I hope.
The daily water bucket runs with truck and by hand, that we've been having to do most of the winter, ever since our water line to the barn burst when our temps dropped below zero for more than a week.....are now over! The water lines have been repared! Yay! (Do you see me doing the Happy Dance!)

Jeremiah waving from the back of John's truck. I like this photo, because I took it from over my horse's back. See?
Done with the last load of water for all the critters. See the sense of relief?
Jenna just loves climbing up onto the hay and watching the animals eat.
Do you see that tiny human boy in the tree? (Click photo for a larger image) That's my Jackson up there in one of our Pinon Nut Trees. Yikes!
Baby Doll, my horse, didn't think to highly of all that racket and strange movement up there in her tree. She refused to come down to me when I was below the tree. I think she believed a mountain lion was up there ready to pounce.
Well, at least now I know who to send up to harvest the nuts come Fall! hehe

I hope you are feeling better. You post more often than anyone I know, so I'm sure everyone would understand if the airwaves went silent for a while as you got some rest.

hehehe. Thanks for understanding, Nuzzling Muzzles. And thanks for not minding me writing too much on my Blog. Since I don't scrapbook anymore, blogging fills that journaling and picture taking void. hehe
