Happy Love Day!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Valentine's Day today. My hubby gave me one beautiful red rose, a very sweet card, and a ginormous Symphony chocolate bar (yummo!) We don't have any plans today, though as he has to catch up on sleep after working graveyard last night, and I'm totally focused on my physical therapy exercises. I keep repeating to myself 'I will not have another surgery on my knee', and telling myself, 'You will succeed! Pain means recovery!' It's tough but I'm gonna do it!
I took a photo to share of one of the flowers in a bouquet that some friends brought over last week. They even cleaned my house and took down my Christmas tree and decorations! I'm so thankful and appreciative.
So, this pretty flower is my gift I'm sharing with all of you. Enjoy!

Happy Love Day, my friends.
Love the one you're with, and give some love to yourself today.
Chocolate IS required. hehe

Aww, I got one red rose also. No candy though, as Mr. Fry is respecting my efforts to shed some poundage. Send you friends my way. My house could use cleaning too.

Sounds like a great Valentine's Day, Lisa! Good for you for renewing your resolve and continuing to hope!

Hubby and I went out for brunch today, visited Panama briefly, and are now hanging out at the bookstore (with free WiFi -- yay!). Tonight we're going to have an easy and fun dinner at home, and watch one of our favorite movies.

Did you see the Valentine's Day video I made? I'm inordinately pleased with how it turned out. :o)

Happy Valentines Day! My Cowboy gave me a card, flowers, chocolates, and my fav bottle of wine. He took me out to see my equine friend so we could let him graze. Made my day!

We don't do V-day but we spent the day looking at llamas and goats. And we went out to lunch at our local bbq joint. It was good! Tonight we'll snack for dinner since we had a late lunch and watch tv.

The only thing that would top your gifts would be CHOCOLATE ROSES. lol!!

Sounds like you had a good day in general :) We just kind of hung around. I tried to go through my pictures to organize them for scrapbooking next month and we went to the horse rescue where we got our girl Sis. They have a colt coming who needs eye surgery and were asking for donations, so we took a little something over. And THEN, we saw a new horse we'd LOVE to get. I hope they still have her by the time we can get another horse. She's even registered :)

Enjoy your chocolates, fuel for all that PT you're putting yourself through :) Just don't OVERdo it dearie.

Sounds like you are feeling a little more upbeat. Everyday is a do-over, so enjoy what you can. I'm finally catching up on some blog reading and enjoyed your recent photos - the sunrise, the flowers and especially of your boys. Hang in there girl !

Your "voice" sounds better today. Remember to breath, we all forget that. this will pass and you will be "you" again!

Happy Valentines Day to you too Lisa. I had a great one with my sweetie and it sounds like you did too - I am so glad, you deserve some TLC :)
You are sounding much more upbeat, which is great, don't forget whatever else happens every day, take a few minutes for yourself and just do something that is totally for you! It's important and will speed your recovery.

Keep doing those exercises and really bend that knee, you've gotta break those adhesion's if you've got them. And if you don't (that's good) but you need the mobility that exercise will bring about faster for you.
Glad you had some help and got a lovely rose and candy, that should make things go easier today. Happy Valentine's.
