So, ya wanna know how much snow is on our ground?
And the winner with the closest guess is: Crystal of Ranch Riding. (Send me your snail mail address and I’ll get that book sent out to you, Crystal!)
Oh. And for those of you who live east of New Mexico, get ready for us to send along more winter storms after we’re done with them. We’ve got two more barreling down on us this week.
What the heck is going on this winter anyway?!

Lisa, you are right about two more storms coming! We're having the first one here this weekend, then another one mid-week. I'm not sure I can even get up to the horse ranch this weekend! DARN! At least they get excellent care, but I still wish I could see them.
No, really Lisa...you can keep the snow.
That is alot of snow! Darn, I did not win but I still like seven.
Stay warm and enjoy the snow before you know it you will be hugging the cool inside talking about how hot it is.
Loved the races.
So far, it's been rain by the time it gets here. I'm so sick of mud!
It has rained for two days, a little snow would be nice. I don't have to go anywhere anyway. :):)
that is too cute....well you know we have all this global warming...I guess that explains all the snow and ice storms around the country this winter....28 inches in Washington DC...LOL
Jenna needs a coat, hat, and mittens.
Too cute!!!! Little doggie good thing he's red? You'd loose him.
Congrats Crystal on the win!
So funny!
Stay warm. Maybe a couple times down the weiner dog raceway will warm you up. :)
Looks like a great way to wear out a weinie dog. So sick of this weather. We are only getting rain, but its just a muddy mess everywhere! Stay warm.
Fun pics ! that is a lot of snow! stay warm
Very cute
Holy socks! That's a lotta snow!! I had to laugh at your weiner dog pics! Too cute!!
how cute ! Weenie racing !
Its amazing how fast they can really go!
Aww... my dachshund loves to play in the snow too! Except she likes jumping into snow deeper than herself and making tunnels... most of the time we just see a little brown point of her tail popping up as the only indicator of where she is. I can't believe there is that much snow out there...
Love it! I used to live near Taos, up at the Taos Ski Valley, talk about a lot of snow. Didn't care for the clay mud down around town. At least, with all the snow, you don't have that to deal with.
LOL! Those videos made my day..:-))
We should ge all of our weiner dogs together and have a big snow race. lol. Although we would have to go to your place. We only had 5 inches here.
Great pictures. Jen always looks so pretty in the snow and you can tell her I said so.
Keep it over there. We're enjoying a sunny day with about 45 degree weather today.
If Betty was off her nerve medication we'd be out riding this morning.
Dan
It is too funny to see your little dog playing in those tracks! The snow is so much taller than the little girl. Too cute!
I'll trade you some rain for some snow?
Thanks!! I was hoping to win and get that book, I can't wait to recieve it!
Dobbie looks very happy! :)
We are having a milder than usual winter. I guess the extra snow must be hitting everyone else.
Wow. How nice to have your own weiner dog track! We've thought about installing one, but that would mean we'd have to permit snow.
At least the sky is blue!
We're expecting your left over cold air here on Wednesday. And then Friday - We'll be THERE!
Up for brunch on Saturday?
Too cute!! Dobbie really looks like she's having fun :)
I think it's global warming. Everything is all messed up because the ozone layer is so damaged.
Anyway, funny pics!
He's looking for a sled to pull!
- The Equestrian Vagabond
Wiener racing! She looks like she's having a blast... this is the fun side of those winter storms. If only you could push a button and your paths/roads/drives would be magically clear and free of ice.
Love this post!!! The girls are so cute together!
I'm amazed by all that snow. It's amazing being on one side of the mountain versus the other does for a yard. My children would be so jealous if they saw these pictures.
You're Dobbie and my Jesse would LOVE each other. Jesse is long and low - big ears, but with a short nubby tail.
