This is something I found while riding my horse Apache out on a trail ride on Sunday.
My friend Colleen carried it back in her saddlebags for me, so I could bring it home and show my kidlets. You could say we have a fascination with bones……..
What kind of animal do you think this once was?
(All of my photos are taken using my Canon PowerShot SX110 IS)

wow I bet your twins love it...
Pig? It looks like it might once have been by the teeth that jut out a little bit. You find such interesting things around your place.
badger?
some sort of rodent ??
Fox?
Wow , those are some funky teeth in there!
What an awesome find! The kidlets would probably like to hear that it is some sort of exotic, very rare dinosaur. Hmmmm, you could call it a Peccasaurus! But in reality, I think it is from a javelina, also known as the Peccary.
I've never seen one up close and personal, but when I'd visit my parents in Arizona, my mom would often warn me to be on guard for the javelinas.

I vote for a pig also, perhaps even a wild hog/javelina.

That looks like a pig!
The teeth are quite unique. How big is it?
To me it looks like something in the pig family... pig, wild boar, javelina, etc.
I have to say that the first shot sure has the wow factor. Love the lighting and the angle.
Javelina!
Pig was my first thought, also. Cool skull, whatever it is.
Dreaming is right, and we seem to have reached a consensus. Yay for us!
VERY,VERY COOL!!! Depending on the size I would say Javlina due to the tusks..:-))
Lisa that first photo is cool!!!!! I believe that is of the pig family.
I bet the kidlets loved that thing!
Fantastic angles. What an eye you have, Lisa.

Yep, looks like a wild pig!
Looks like a wild boar...but who knows with that super zoom, it may be a mouse!
That is a very interesting skull! Wow! Looks creepy, almost from the dinosaur ages! I have no idea what it could be. Hope you find out! Would be cool to know what it is exactly!
Wow, it sure is a scary looking thing, funky teeth is right!!!
I have no idea what it is, hope you tell us! :-D
hugs...

Javalina is my guess. seriously looks like one.
Very cool, I would have carted it home too! A Wild Boar perhaps..I bet your kids thought it was pretty cool..look at those chompers:)
I say pig/ wild boar. I admit I love finding bone too.
How cool!! I bet your kids just loved it. That first photo is just eye-popping! It really took my breath away. Nice capture!
Great pictures!!! I'm gonna have to go with my first thought of pig! Something in the family at least!!
Wild pig is my guess! Just read your email, lots of stuff (none of it good been going on), and will try to reply tomorrow...have to work 12 hrs today! Apologies, Lis...

Really cool!
Is it one of those Javalenas (sp)? It looks ancient, but then climate probably has an effect. Very neat and artistic photos, with an interesting subject.
a tyrannasaurus rex!
YOU like bones and skulls... riding with my friend Maryanne in Egpyt in the desert once, we came across a skull... a HUMAN skull... and SHE TOOK IT HOME! rode with it wrapped up in a shirt all the way home, brought it in the house, and kept it! She had to hide it one day when a maid came - because it freaked the maid out - but she wanted to put it in the room I was staying in, and I said no way! I don't care who it is, I'm not sleeping with a human skull!
