Sunday Stills ~ Red and Green

This week’s Sunday Stills Challenge is to take photographs that include subjects that are red and green, including both in the same photo.

Considering that I live in New Mexico, and New Mexico’s Official State Question is, “Red or Green?”, meaning red or green chile, this should be a piece of cake. (Or maybe chocolate?)

(The green chili honey below is sitting in my pantry. I couldn’t help but buy a jar. Yummy!)

(I wish I would have bought a box of the green chili biscuit or cornbread mix, though. Imagine how delicious that green chili honey would taste on that!)

Oh look! Notice that the mixes are great for camping. Well, my kidlets and I just happened to go camping last week, too!

How about a green tent and a pair of red sleeping bags?

And a green camp stove with a red danger sign. (I think we were in danger of rolling down the mountain with that Leaning Table of Pisa. lol!)

                                   Speaking of signs……..

And another red and green sign, but a little more refreshing!

But chile peppers, tents, signs and beer weren’t the only red and green subjects that presented themselves to me and my camera this past week…….

How about Daizy the baby elephant playing with her red and green balls?!

                               Can everyone say, “Awwww!”?

And lastly……..The Rio Grande Zoo Train.

(I had never noticed what colors it was before this challenge.)

Awww is right! That's so cute! And hey- you missed the red and green in your daughter's clothes in the campstove photo. Glad you had such nice weather for your camping trip.

Good job on the red and green subject. I'll have to keep my eye out for some of that chile pepper chocolate. Sounds intriguing.

Lots of originality there. Very creative thinking. I like the pic of Jenna and Dobbie, especially Dobbie's errant ear.

That elephant is one of the cutest animal shots!! It would make a cute pet, but feeding a family of 8 would be less costly!!!

Aw!

Red and green are my two favorite colors to put together when I'm decorating.

I LOVE baby elephants!!! when the seattle zoo had their baby many years ago, I was elbowing little kids out of the way from the window because I wanted to see it first!!
