There must be lots of love up there for all that heart wood. Thanks so much for the encouraging words, they mean alot.
So now I really have to go take a picture of that tree that they painted red where the limb was cut and made a heart. I always forget!
Beautiful wood! I took a picture of some up in the pinyon forest during vacation and GOSH DARN! Now I can't find it! (pulling out hair...)

Interesting the things Mother Nature provides us with sometimes. Makes me think that perfection isn't all it's cracked up to be. This certainly wouldn't be nearly so interesting if it were perfect. LOL

Wood produces such interesting natural designs. When we go cut wood each fall for our firewood stack we always run into one or more really cool natural designs. Neat!
