When I dropped off my sons at their summer camp where they work as counselors every summer, I spied an equine skull on the front porch of one of the cabins. It was laying in two separate pieces and it bugged me to see it like that, so I fitted the pieces together and then I was inspired to take a photo of it. I was secretly wishing that I could have brought this equine skull home, but a photo had to suffice. I have always loved the stark beauty of skulls and bones and even have a special collection that I keep in my ‘Bone Garden”.
It’s a New Mexico thing.
