Sunday Stills ~ Technology

This week’s Sunday Still's Challenge proved more challenging for me than most of the challenges of the past year. I’m sort of a techno-phobe myself, appreciating technology and happy to use it, but never really sure exactly how or why it works.

For a case in point, here is my little battery-powered Air Compressor, which has been a life-saver these past few weeks while dealing with a slow leak in my driver’s side rear tire.

All I know is that I plug the air-compressor into one of the adaptors in my van, turn it on, and it fills my flat tire with air. Yay for Technology!

If you asked my chickens what type of technology they appreciate most, especially during the winter, they’d probably say the heat lamp inside their chicken house.

Check out Sunday Stills to see how other folks have handled this week’s challenge.

Those are clever choices! What's causin' the slow leak?
I love your holiday header! I was looking at the fun ideas on Picnik, trying to think up a holiday card this year! :)

those little air compressors are so cool, aren't they?! (especially since we now have to pay $1 for air)
technology astounds and befuddles me, too.

Fine choices for technology. The instant tire repair would be a have to have where you live!! :)

Great shots!

My husband has been spending a lot of time with the air compressor too. My truck tires were so low that they squealed each time I accelerated or went around a corner, and now his car's tires are acting up in the cold weather.

That's a great shot and perspective of your hen and heat lamp. Sorry to hear your car continues to give you troubles, but good to know technology is there to save the day! I do wonder what kind of company would name themselves Slime! LOL.

YOUR header is FABULOUS! That is A techy type of thing right there!
Loved your choice of photo's ...but sorry for the leak. My man had to change his tire the other day.We shall let The Les Schwab be more technical on it!

Clever. Well done.

My favorite technology is my electric blanket on these cold winter nights. Turn it on about an hour before going to bed -- heavenly.

What about your horses? Here in mild Auckland, I see horse owners giving blankets to their horses. Do you give an electric blanket for your horses?

Yay for chicken close-ups!

I expected to see a self-portrait of your camera--that's surely your biggest use of technology around this blog!

(Ok, I have to tell you, this chicken song is cracking me up tonight--dunno why tonight, after having it stuck in my head so many times after reading your blog!)

Great story. I'll bet that chicken appreciates the heat too. Nice Christmas header on the blog.

ok, now you have me thinking outside the box. I would say a generator! But the heat lamps have come in handy with new born puppies!
