Sunday Stills ~ In The Sky

I just got home from our hiking and camping trip out in western New Mexico and I’m still trying to go through all of my photos. But here are a few that should work well for this week’s Sunday Stills Challenge:

This vulture prowling above our heads over the El Malpais Wilderness on the Zuni-Acoma Trail was in the sky.

A Ponderosa Pine Tree is certainly tall enough to be in the sky.

Inscription Rock at El Morro National Monument near Ramah, New Mexico has a prominent place in the sky.

And we can’t forget that rainbows are in the sky. This was our view from our BLM campsite on Friday night.

And of course, clouds are in the sky, too. A view from Inscription Rock at El Morro National Monument.

How do you think our country fares?

Silent Sunday

(This horse's name is "Ghost". He's a 4 year old gelding owned by my instructor friend, Lorie. Ghost is an 'in-your-pocket' kind of horse and wants to be right next to you at all times. Thankfully he's respectful of a human's personal space, though. He just loves people. Doesn't he have the most amazing blue/glass eyes?)
